Highnote Powers OneGold’s Launch of The OneGold Card

OneGold selected Highnote to power The OneGold Card, a new payment card that seamlessly converts gold and silver holdings into purchasing power at the point of sale

SAN FRANCISCO — October 13, 2026 — Highnote, the unified platform for modern issuing, acquiring, credit, ledger, and money movement, today announced that OneGold, the digital precious metals platform of Bullion International Group (BIG), has launched the OneGold Card, on Highnote’s issuing platform, bringing a differentiated financial product to market that gives customers a new way to seamlessly spend the value of their gold and silver holdings.

As consumers seek more connected financial experiences, the OneGold Card bridges investing and everyday spending. When customers make a purchase, the corresponding amount of gold or silver is automatically sold at the current spot price and used to complete the transaction, converting precious metals into purchasing power in real time.

Built on Highnote’s issuing platform, OneGold launched the OneGold Card quickly while maintaining the flexibility to expand and evolve the experience over time.

“Gold has been a store of value for generations, but spending it has never been this simple,” said Ken Lewis, CEO of Bullion International Group, the parent company of OneGold and APMEX. “With The OneGold Card, your gold converts into purchasing power at the moment you pay, without the extra steps that have traditionally separated investing from spending. Highnote gave us the speed, flexibility, and modern platform we needed to bring that vision to life.”

As alternative assets continue to gain traction, consumers are looking for new ways to integrate investments into their broader financial lives. The OneGold Card reflects that shift, bringing investing, saving, and spending together in a single experience.

“Companies are looking to create financial products that stand apart, not simply replicate what’s already in the market,” said David Galvan, Head of Issuing Sales at Highnote. “OneGold is reimagining how consumers interact with precious metals, and Highnote helped bring that vision to market. Our unified platform helps companies launch quickly, differentiate their products, and continue innovating without the constraints of legacy infrastructure.”

The launch demonstrates how modern enterprises are using Highnote’s unified platform to create differentiated financial products with speed and flexibility. With issuing, ledger, and money movement built together from day one, Highnote enables companies to continue innovating on a single platform as their products and customer expectations evolve.
